Wexford Festival Singers rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm to 10.00pm
in the Friary Hall Meeting Room, School Street, Wexford Town, from September to June.

Our rehearsals are FUN!

We place a big emphasis on the social side of the choir. Please contact us or you can just come along to one of our rehearsals.

We have got members travelling from all over Wexford and as far as Arklow, Wateford and beyond who car pool to rehearsals.

Our membership currently includes accomplished singers, musicians and sight readers, many of whom have learned their skills by working directly with our choir which provides the very highest standards of professional music tuition to its membership. Sight reading is not essential and we provide rehearsal CDs to assist practising the music at home.

Worried About Auditions?

Don't Be

While we must make sure our members can add to our musical performances in a positive way – we will do our best to make you feel at ease. A short audition and assessment of your voice/range will be offered within the first few weeks.

This will be done before or after rehearsal without onlookers! If your voice is not quite ready for performances, don’t be disheartened, you can still come along to rehearsals and practice. It’s amazing what a difference regular singing can make to your voice and you could audition again at a later stage.
