An Evening of Serenity and Sublime Beauty

Sunday, 8 November 2026 | Rowe Street Church, Wexford

Wexford Festival Singers are delighted to invite you to an exceptional evening of choral and orchestral music in the magnificent surroundings of Rowe Street Church, Wexford.

Under the direction of acclaimed conductor Anthony Norton, the choir will present three of the most cherished works in the sacred repertoire, each reflecting on life's deepest mysteries with beauty, hope and profound spirituality.

The programme features:

  • Fauré's Requiem - a masterpiece of luminous serenity, often described as a gentle and consoling meditation on eternal rest; a lullaby to death.
  • Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Fauré - a radiant and deeply spiritual work of exquisite lyricism.
  • Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus - a jewel of sacred music, renowned for its simplicity, grace and perfect craftsmanship.

Joining the choir will be distinguished soloists Kelli-Ann Masterson (soprano) and Simon Morgan (baritone), accompanied by Wexford Camerata, a distinguished ensemble of professional musicians

Founded in 1975, Wexford Festival Singers has earned a reputation as one of Ireland's leading choral societies. Drawing its growing membership from across the South East, the choir is united by a shared passion for musical excellence and a commitment to bringing outstanding performances to audiences throughout the region. Under the artistic leadership of Anthony Norton, internationally recognised conductor, vocal coach and educator, the choir continues to expand its artistic ambitions and repertoire.
